Dalbarb was established by Ian Crawford in 1972 with a commitment to providing better tanks for the growing number of people interested in keeping fish. Today Dalbarb remains 100% Australian owned and continues its commitment to producing the highest quality product and backing it up with the best service.

During those early years, the company's priority was on building a small range of stronger, more durable tanks at an affordable price.

As the business grew it became apparent that tank design, was increasingly important for enthusiastic hobbyists. People were also after more choice and wanted guaranteed back up service if something went wrong with the product at home. That's why Dalbarb is now committed to creating aquarium furniture and not just fish tanks.

Dalbarb furniture is:

• Thoughtfullly designed
• Available in many variations to suit all home and office situations
• Built to the highest standards
• Supported by a 1 year Australian wide guarantee - conditions apply .

Dalbarb is now the biggest aquarium furniture manufacturer in Australia and the only one with warehouses in NSW, Victoria and Queensland. Dalbarb distributes a full range of aquariums and habitat nationally. It's range includes "starter tanks" big enough to comfortably take three fish, and many other designs in a variety of different in sizes and shapes. Dalbarb also develops and builds custom designed aquariums for the foyers and waiting rooms of many Australian companies.
